About me

From a good conversation at the table to a tool that works every day

I'm Dorian Hofs, the maker behind Digifuse. I sit down with you, understand how your business runs, and then build what you need myself.

I studied business information systems and have been an entrepreneur myself for years. You notice it in how I work: I don't start with the technology, I start with your business. Where do you make your money, where is time lost, what keeps piling up? Only when that's clear do I pick up the tools.

Those tools are data, automation and AI. I've been working with them for twenty years, in web shops, ERP systems, tills, PIM and logistics. By now I've built well over a hundred flows and dozens of AI agents. That's why I know where a company's data usually gets stuck, and how to put it back to work.

What gives me energy

Sparring with business owners, then seeing it run

My best days go like this. In the morning I sit down with a business owner and their team. We map out how an order, a customer question or a request really moves through the company, not how it looks on paper. That's where you see it straight away: the retyping, the searching, the waiting on each other.

In the afternoon I start building. A connection that lets two systems talk to each other. A flow that turns an incoming email into an order on its own. An AI agent that answers customer questions using the data already in your systems. Or a portal where your customer can see the status of their request themselves.

The goal is always the same: help people work faster and smarter, and serve customers better. I'm almost obsessive about it. The best moment isn't the delivery, it's the moment the people who use it never want to go back to the old way.

How I work

Four things I don't compromise on

Data first, then AI

Without a data foundation, AI is money down the drain. That's why I start with your data: unlocking it, bringing it together and getting it in order. Only then do I put AI on top.

Built with the people who use it

Technology only works when people carry it. I build with the shop floor at the table and close every delivery with a proper introduction, not a thick manual.

No AI for the sake of AI

Does a simple connection solve the problem? Then you get a simple connection. I'll tell you honestly when AI isn't the answer.

No throwaway IT

Everything I build fits together. Every connection, flow or portal is a building block that later connects to the rest, all the way up to your own AI Hub.

The road here

Twenty years, one common thread: making work simpler

The builder

First, I built it myself

It started with building: web shops, custom ERP, PIM platforms and logistics systems. From first sketch to software that runs every day. This is where I learned how business systems work on the inside, and where the data lives.

The entrepreneur

Then I sat on the other side of the table

Led development teams and became an entrepreneur myself. On the other side of the table you quickly learn what counts: margin, customers and people. And that a system nobody uses delivers nothing.

The connector

After that, it was all about data

Connected systems, brought data together, automated manual work away. From till systems to marketing tools, always with the same question: how do we get the right information in the right place, without anyone having to retype it?

The maker at the table

Now I put AI on top

Then AI joined the toolbox: agents that read mailboxes, answer customer questions and create orders. Not as an experiment, but in day-to-day operations. That's Digifuse.
